Exhibitions in 2012:

03.2012 - Paper Tube Project
The exhibition, by Marcin Wojcik, Kevin Coffey and Alan O’Farrell of DIT Dublin School of Architecture, saw the installation a large paper-tube sculpture which filled the gallery. Designed and manufactured using digital processes the Paper Tube Project illustrates the possibilities of parametric modelling and design; this emergent technology promises to provide economic, smart and bespoke architecture and engineering. The project investigates the use of cardboard as the primary building material. The exhibition was opened by Alan Dempsey of NEX Architecture.

02.2012 - SCHOOLYARD: Landscape Design for 3 City Schools
Students from the UCD Department of Landscape Architecture, working with three Dublin schools, (Mount Carmel Secondary School, Belvedere College and O’Connell Secondary School), designed landscape projects for the school grounds which presented a challenge as outdoor space was limited. Organised by Sophie von Maltzan of Fieldwork & Strategies Landscape Architects, with UCD.

12.2011 – 01.2012 - Common Ground
Common Ground: The G.H. Mumm Exhibition, Twisting Conventions in Fashion & Architecture. Working together, photographer Rich Gilligan and stylist Aisling Farinella took the work of six Irish fashion designers and found a range of buildings and inspiring architectural spaces that relate to their work visually and conceptually; they created a stunning photographic exhibition that linked fashion and architecture.
